Northern California Area Summer Camps

Animal Care

As a working ranch, there are a variety of farm animals that need to be cared for. Campers take on the responsibility to love and care for the ranch animals daily.

Campers can learn the proper care and feeding of sheep, goats, miniature donkeys & horses, pigs, chickens, turkeys, rabbits, and sometimes even a baby calf that needs to be bottle fed.

The small animals live in the “Chicken Barn,” where there are eggs to gather, incubators to keep an eye on and pigs to feed. Many campers become attached to these animals as an important part of our camp family.
