Anna Ellena-Rosenau

Administrator + Camp Director

Anna is a third-generation steward of MMR and supports summer and year-round operations at MMR. She holds a B.A. in Psychology and brings a lifetime of camp experience, having grown up at MMR as a camper, counselor, kitchen manager, and now director. Anna is passionate about creating meaningful, well-supported experiences for families, campers, staff, alumni, and partners alike. With her hands in many aspects of the behind-the-scenes operations, she is often the go-to resource for families and runs the in-camp Parent Line.

Sam Rosenau

Co-Ranch Steward + Camp Director 

Sam supports stewardship of the land and summer operations at MMR, helping ensure the Ranch remains safe, beautiful, and well cared for. After marrying into the family business, he fell in love with MMR’s natural setting, off-season ranch work, and the vibrant community life of summer camp. Having attended camps as a teenager, Sam understands the lasting impact camp can have on young people. He holds a B.A. in Religious Studies and Philosophy, shaping his thoughtful approach to caring for both people and place.

Brandon Whitestone

Co-Ranch Steward + Camp Director 

Brandon supports stewardship of the land and summer operations at MMR, bringing over a decade of experience in camp, ranch, and facilities leadership. Known for his steady presence and hands-on approach, he works closely with staff to support infrastructure, logistics, and day-to-day problem-solving throughout the summer season. Brandon plays a key role in keeping camp running smoothly, helping ensure a safe, well-organized, and supportive environment for campers and staff alike during the busiest months of the year.

Lexie Parrott

Staff + Program Director

Lexie was born and raised in Indiana and now calls central Washington home. She holds a degree in Recreation and Sport Management and is passionate about using outdoor experiences to support youth development. With over 10 years of experience working at summer camps, this is her first summer at MMR. Lexie oversees summer staff hiring and program leadership, and she loves watching campers and staff form meaningful connections, build confidence, and show up as their authentic selves—especially when it happens poolside or at the lagoon.

Jack and Jody Ellena

Long-time stewards of Mountain Meadow Ranch, Jack and Jody now enjoy a well-earned season of retirement while remaining closely connected as trusted advisors. Their decades of care, leadership, and love for camp continue to shape MMR today.

Sarah Joy + Isaac Colavecchio

Recently returned to the Ranch, Sarah Joy and Isaac support camp and ranch life while dreaming into future possibilities rooted in restorative agriculture, land stewardship, and hospitality. Their chapter is still unfolding — and we’re excited to see what takes root.

Katherine + Brandon Whitestone 

After more than ten years of full-time, hands-on leadership across camp, program, and ranch life, Katherine and Brandon are stepping into a sabbatical season focused on rest, family, and personal exploration beyond camp. The Ranch remains home, and their care and vision continue to be felt throughout the community.
