Throughout the summer we offer a variety of fun and adventurous “Out-Trips,” where a small group of campers have the opportunity to leave camp to explore natural attractions in our area.
THE LASSEN TRIP
Explore the grand beauty of Mt. Lassen Volcanic National Park.
Have a snowball fight in the heat of summer. Discover steam vents and boiling mud at Sulphur Works. Explore old lava tubes and take a dip in the frigid waters of Burney Falls.
THE DESERT ADVENTURE
Discover ancient petroglyphs, Native American encampments, and caves in the heart of the Great Basin Desert. Hunt for lizards, arrowheads and fossils! Stop by and say hello to authentic wild horses at the local BLM Wild Horse Facility.
THE BACKPACKING TRIP
For campers age 13 and up we offer a backpack trip into the pristine wilderness of the Diamond Mountain Range, that begin just behind Mountain Meadow Ranch.
