All-Camp Events – Tribal/Color Wars

Our weekends are devoted to bringing the entire camp family together for team games and special events. These special weekend competitions have become a huge success. Each session the camp family is divided into four teams which compete in several fun and crazy competitions. Favorites include the Random Events, the Aqua Fest, Lagoon Daze, Mountain Meadow Olympics, and the grand daddy of them all, All-Camp Capture the Flag. Each team is assigned a color and together come up with their own team name, team cheers, team song, mascots etc. Before each event teams gather and chants are heard echoing throughout the land, war paint is donned, shirts are often decorated and the mayhem is on. There are campers who repeatedly come back to Mountain Meadow almost exclusively to participate in these Color/Tribal Wars. These exciting events truly seal the bond among campers and staff as everyone becomes equally involved, whether cheering on their team-mates or helping someone make it past the finish line; everyone participates no matter what the age.
