Archery/Riflery

At the rifle range our certified instructors teach respect for guns and carefully supervise the sport of safe riflery using .22 caliber rifles. We feel that if so desired, interested young people should have the opportunity to learn the proper respect for firearms. Starting with a safety program, campers may earn official NRA certificates as Marksmen, Sharpshooters or Experts.

In Archery, campers may also earn awards for various levels of achievement. Mountain Meadow Ranch is a member of the NAA (the National Archery Association) and our scoring system is based on their program. Our archery range is located in "Sherwood Forest" where campers can hone their skills on our eight target, ¾ mile archery course that weaves its way deep into the back property forests.
