One of the original Mountain Meadow Ranch activities! Founder Jack Sr.’s vision was for every camper to return to the great outdoors, care for a horse and learn how to shoot a rifle.
Down on the rifle range campers can participate in target practice using .22 rifles in the prone position. There are awards to be won for mastering levels of difficulty, such as Sharpshooter and Marksman. Safety is our top priority; we adhere strictly to American Camp Association guidelines for the safe practice of using .22 rifles. Campers are always supervised and receive instruction by trained staff members.
