Drama Program at Summer Camp
Activities >> Drama
The Buck Jones Playhouse is located in the big ranch barn. Originally built in 1910 the barn now houses a one-of-a-kind theater arts department, the official site of our drama program for the kids. Named after one of the past owners of Mountain Meadow Ranch, the Buck Jones Playhouse is where, each session, interested campers put together the camp play. Campers at our California summer camp come together to display their various talents in a setting complete with a full stage, sets, lighting and audio effects. The play, while supervised by our drama director, is almost completely orchestrated by the campers themselves.
